Hello, my name is Nathan Reyes, and I'm the author behind the articles you find on this site. I've spent my career writing software before writing about it — several years building web applications and internal tools, followed by a stretch working alongside DevOps and platform teams, where I got a close-up view of how modern software actually ships.

That background shapes what I write about here: not abstract predictions, but the tools, frameworks, and trends developers are dealing with right now, and whether they're actually worth the hype. When I cover a new framework or a shift in how teams work, I try to explain not just what it does, but what problem it's really solving.

Outside of writing, I spend a fair amount of time experimenting with side projects, contributing to the occasional open-source repo, and keeping an eye on what's changing in the developer tools space before it becomes mainstream.

My goal with this site is simple: make sense of a fast-moving field for people who don't have time to sift through it themselves — whether you're a developer, a technical lead, or just someone trying to keep up with where software is headed.
